I’m not here at the moment, and I’ve had terrible trouble getting my computer to accept the wi-fi password of there (where I currently am) but, suddenly, it worked, just in time for Word Press to wish me a happy eighth anniversary. Yes, I have apparently been using WordPress for eight years!
My new best pal
Anyway, as I’m not here I’ll leave it at that – except to say that Hay on Wye is an awfully tempting place, so if you ever go take a trolley to fill with all the books you’ll have to buy!
If the car can cope with the weight of books I’ll be back next week.
I am an artist and writer living in southwest Scotland. I freelance as a Literature Ambassador (for Wigtown Festival Co. who run the Scottish Book Town); as a creative writing teacher; and a content provider, populating people's websites and marketing materials with perfectly honed, clear sentences.
When I'm not gadding about supporting writers, lit events, businesses, and students I write fiction, non-fiction, and the odd poem. I avidly believe that creativity is the answer to the problem.

We’re just down the road at D.’s sister’s, so spent the day there yesterday. It was marvellous!

Hay on Wye is a fantasy trip of mine. Just like Tokyo. Or Fiji. I don’t know if I’ll ever see any of them but I’m glad you got there.

It’s been on my list for years and years, I can’t believe I’ve managed to marry a man whose sister lives less than an hour’s drive away!
